I just looked at our stats and as of right now, we’ve found 2012 caches in the year 2012. It would be kind of cool to stop now. I doubt that will happen, however.
We were doing really well on keeping our numbers down and expanding our interests until Trekkin’ was hauled along with a couple people even nuttier than we are. Oh well. 🙄
Anyone else have any cool caching numerology observations?
10/09/2012 at 4:01 pm #1964885I find less caches with a broken GPS! 😉
10/09/2012 at 4:08 pm #1964886Time to invest in the muggle B method.
Following the signals from space.

10/09/2012 at 7:41 pm #1964888My 2012 finds per day times 10 is almost pi and I won the cobbler competition saturday?
fpd = 0.3145
best I can do on short notice…
10/09/2012 at 7:48 pm #1964889Gotcha beat with 0.3196 caches/day
10/09/2012 at 8:58 pm #1964890Hmmm… Let’s see…
Your find count divided by the number of words in your first post is 14944/72 which is 207. On page 207 of the time wasters’ thread, Mathman (Math? Numbers? See the tie-in?) mentions paying $19 for DSL. The 19th word of your post is….

That can’t be coincidence.10/09/2012 at 9:10 pm #1964891Oh my, I think Black Cat is THIS close to solving the mystery of the universe with that one!
10/10/2012 at 2:07 am #1964892Somewhat related along these line…
Myself personally:
Most minutes spent looking for a cache and finding it, 135.
Most round trip miles walked to a single cache, 11.10/10/2012 at 2:26 am #1964893I keep going back and forth with T&B… my # of WGA posts vs. T&B’s # of smileys! 😀

10/10/2012 at 2:20 pm #1964897OK, while you guys play around with these big numbers, I am going to finish up the work on string theory.

Actually, the longest time spent was counting the words in T&B’s first post.
