Most of us think that geocaching began on the west coast not too many years ago. But I discovered tonight that the original roots may have been much longer ago.
At our church small group couples study tonight, I read these words. From the Book of Matthew in the Bible, Chapter 13, Verse 44 (taken out of contect), “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again…” (NIV)
So obviously Geocaching has been around for awhile…
(This historical perspective is offered tongue-in-cheek, no real intent at theological implications is intended or implied!).

Awesome, I have to check that out.

…but he probably didn’t re-hide it the way the CO intended.
(ditto G&G’s tounge-in-cheek sentiment)
That is funny.
