    Scribble Scribe
    Participant

My name is Scott Dallesasse. My geocaching name currently is Scribble Scribe, previously I went as SDallesasse. I live in Sussex, Wisconsin (which is in Waukesha County) with my wife, Sue, and my son Lucas. I currently work for Pieper Power as an electrician. My work takes me to many places in the region, both in state and in nearby states. Some of my geocaching friends have told me of their envy of my travel. Being an electrician is my second career; previously I was an EMT (emergency medical technician) and a firefighter. As you may tell adventure, exploration and challenges have driven me both professionally and personally. When I heard about geocaching, it intrigued me because it has all of these qualities. My son and sister introduced me to geocaching indirectly; but my first few caches I searched for and found on my own.

Since I started geocaching, I have found so many valuable treasures. These treasures being experiences while caching and more importantly the relationships I have made with fellow cachers. My first attraction to geocaching was the adventure; however, geocaching now is more about being outdoors with family and friends.

Prior to becoming a geocacher, I enjoyed many outdoor activities like, skiing, hunting, camping and photography. Some of the activities that I have done in the past are now incorporated with my geocaching. One aspect of geocaching that I love is that the activity is so portable; I can find caches anywhere I go. Outside of geocaching I am low key, I do not have any obligations beside my family and work.

In the past, I have served on the board of directors for our condominium association. From this experience, I have learned how to work with others through compromise and leadership. I realize that, if elected, I will be new to the board, but I will also be bringing knowledge from my experiences.

In closing, I would like to thank those who nominated me to run for this position. Being chosen by your peers is a very high honor that I take to heart. I cannot thank you enough.
