Too cold to cache, but want something to do? Building these could help stop your feet from slipping on the ice, and your coins from slipping out of your pocket.

We already have some….the upside of this nasty weather is…once it warms up a bit, ice walking should be a no fear activity!
Very nice! I once had a pair of the commercial variety and I was disappointed how short a time they lasted. They used rubber stretch straps instead of chain.
Now to make my own. I think I might even try that flattened link style chain so there’s less roll.
