It’s a trick question! I’ll just pull a MacGyver on this one 🙂
It all depends on what I am going to do with the wires. If I was to use it for installing a ceiling fan or hardwire a smoke detector, then I would use red, but if I were going to use it for a fourway switch application, then I would use blue wire.
