On Sunday, April 28, 2013 the 5th annual Outdoor Ed-Venture event will be held in Cornell, WI. Last year over 400 people attended and the WGA was offered a booth at this event. It was a great opportunity to talk about geocaching, the great outdoors and the Wisconsin Geocaching Association. We have once again been asked if we would like to participate and are looking for a couple of volunteers to run an information table.

The event runs from 11am-2pm on the 28th at the Millyard Park on the banks of the beautiful Chippewa River Flowage in Cornell.

If you are interested, please reply to this thread or contact any of the Board of Directors for more information.

I participated in the past, but am probably going to be unable to this year. If things change, I will let you know.

This would be a great “starter event” for anyone interested. Last year I helped out at a small event in Neenah. Jim had set up a small card table with some caches and WisconsinHibiscus hid a couple temp caches and brought along her fun book of adventures that she shared with many people.

When you are passionate about something, the sharing comes easily.

Let us know is you are interested and we can provide you with some brochures, etc.

Still time to volunteer. Thanks for helping out last year Ralph. We received a great letter of thanks for the effort you and comkelp put in.
