Wanted to publicly congratulate isjustus4 and f1rebirds for their May Lonely Cache blitz. 1229.5 and 1178.5 points respectively. I had been monitoring the people who had been visiting my three lonely caches up north as well as watching several others for signs of activity and it turns out they hit the jackpot!
According to Brian, Jeff and he encountered marauding porcupine, were stampeded by whitetail, faced off with a black bear and were kept sleepless by howling coyotes (More likely hungry wolves!)
(Maybe some slight exaggeration by this author…) 8)
Congratulations! Impressive points 🙂
Congratulations on a huge LCG month. And to start off June with a bang, these guys are on a mission to find The Beast of Big Island, a 5/5 lonely that hasn’t been found in over two years. Good luck guys!
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

Impressive…way to keep those “lonelies” in the game 8)
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
Thanks everyone! We definitely decided to “play hard” last month, and had a BLAST going to a lot of out of the way spots. I can tell you, that my body doesn’t recover as quickly as it did a couple years ago.
NWT, your geocoin visited The Beast, seemed fitting but I didn’t want to leave it there. Others left TB’s, but seems it’s been muggled twice.
Big Jim, sorry you didn’t make it for the journey yesterday. I heard you got wet starting off? Almost everyone was soaked from the waves over the bow(s) on the way out. Around 7 hours to complete the cache.
