😀 Anybody on the forums that would be interested in a geocaching cruise? It would be mid July, location either Alaska or Caribbean. I know there is one to Alaska in late May this year, but the dates don’t work for me.

If you think you might be interested – list your preference for destination and I can check into some preliminary group rates. :pirate:

I have never heard of these! I suspect the expense would be beyond what I could manage, but I would be interested to hear more about them. Maybe it is something I could plan for another year.

The Caribbean in July?? I think January, February or March would be more ideal, and would generate more interest. I would be interested then. Just my 2 cents worth.

Not this time. Ask me next year.

Agree with Benny, summer would be Alaskan cruise time. We went to the southern Caribbean at Easter a few years ago, it was wonderful, but was getting pretty hot. I wouldn’t want to go there a few months later. An Alaskan cruise has been on our radar, but our travel budget is pretty well shot for awhile. Our trip Downunder took care of that!

But we would be interested in hearing about a caching cruise in the future.

Just got back from a cruise and trust me you want to go to the Caribbean during the winter months for numerous reason….the biggest one is to escape winter!
for Alaska those cruise only run May-Sept which I would be interested in doing since I have not cruised there yet.

From personal knowledge…and not on a ‘cruise ship’ the Caribbean is MUCH nicer in the winter than in the summer. In fact, GrammyB wanted to get married on a windjammer cruise in the caribbean in August but we found out that they also had windjammer cruises out of Maine…my experience paid off in the decision we made and 17 years later we are still LOVING it.
