Candidates, we know where you live and likely do most of your caching. That said…if you could head to any part of this great state for caching, where would that be…and why?
01/19/2014 at 10:17 am #1974042I would just like to be able to hit the far reaches of the state. I have traveled for WGA events but didn’t really have much time to cache and there are many areas I have never gone, for any reason. I have been pretty centered on Central Wisconsin and only get a few day trips. Leave in the morning, back at night. Hard to justify several hours of driving for just a few caches but if they are worth it, then maybe so.

01/19/2014 at 4:14 pm #1974043I enjoy the views along the Mississippi, Wisconsin, and Fox rivers.
Having said that, I would like to cache in the Northwest corner of the state.
Because I haven’t cached there yet, I would like to explore that area.
01/20/2014 at 1:21 am #1974044Hello Trekkin and Birdin, I am looking forward to going caching in the Elroy /Sparta area to do some bike trail caches with my hubby this summer. I look forward to doing this as we really enjoy spending time Geocaching with one another as much as we can.
01/20/2014 at 3:32 pm #1974045I’d like to get back to Door County and do more caching, otherwise hitting the northern reaches of the state in search of waterfalls.
01/20/2014 at 6:41 pm #1974046Having cached in all 72 counties the one county that had the caches that I will remember most is Florence County. There are two “falls” caches that are about 2 miles off of Hwy 70 that are accessible by a fire lane…Meyer’s Falls and Bull Falls. That whole part of the state is very interesting and could use even more remote caches. That being said, the caches close by to home that I have enjoyed the most are those around the Stewart tunnel just South of Belleville.
01/23/2014 at 12:24 am #1974047I love the Devil’s Lake area of Wisconsin, and would love to do more caching in that part of the state.
01/23/2014 at 10:47 pm #1974048When it comes to caching, I’m usually up for whatever. Though, I have enjoyed those snowshoeing trips.
