Yesterday while Mrs. sandlanders and I were out roaming around, we passed by an interesting spot, which I should have marked with the Garmin. Anyway, it was out in the middle of nowhere….before we’d been to New Glarus but after Evansville, maybe after we did the IATCC along the Sugar River. There were some carnival rides and a little railroad track that ran through a farmer’s field. It looked like one of those fun little places for the summer. Does anyone know what I’m talking about, and have information about it? Thanks.
Spied something just like that to the west of this cache: GC2XHAB Green County Barn Quilts – 4-H , at Wittenwyler and Feldt.
View the Sat. Map to check.
Thought it might make a good ‘WI Oddity’ candidate, when we visited.
That would be it, HP2. And Birdin’, it looks like we should have had this one on our list for yesterday… GC4DHCW
Oddity candidate for sure. Check out the satellite view, too.
Thanks HP. The satellite view just does not do it justice.
The Ferris wheel shows up nicely on Google street view.
Now, if we can just get the coords for that little piece of guardrail we spotted that would be perfect for a cache… 🙄 😉
For some reason, I’m unable to log into the gallery. I’ve had trouble in the past and just gave up trying to post any photos in there. I can log in anywhere else on the site, go figure.
But thanks!
Yesterday we went past Little America …GC1RP94 is closest cache. Looked like a cute place to take the g-kids.
