The biggest geocaching event in Wisconsin is coming up soon. Who’s planning on going? Will you be camping, staying at a motel or day tripping?
05/14/2014 at 3:48 pm #1976121I’ll go Saturday, Sunday, or both. Wouldn’t want to break my streak!
05/14/2014 at 7:01 pm #1976122I’ll be home twiddling my thumbs 🙂
05/14/2014 at 7:54 pm #1976123I will be there Friday afternoon and Saturday, staying at a motel. Looking forward to seeing how the “7” theme will be carried out!
05/14/2014 at 9:22 pm #1976124I’m joining former Wisconsin resident, Roxiemama (from Rice Lake) to start early and perhaps leave late. She’s flying in from CA and we will get some more DeLorme pages and counties for her to complete the state.
See you there. Moteling but do not know where at the moment.I’d Rather Be Lost Geocaching, Than Found At Home!
05/14/2014 at 10:30 pm #1976125I’ll be there, probably arriving late Friday afternoon. This year I think we are probably going to stay in a hotel but I haven’t worked out all the details. I SO wish that the Cache Bash was more dog-friendly.

05/15/2014 at 12:50 am #1976127We will be arriving Thursday and staying until Saturday night. We booked our hotel last year.
05/15/2014 at 1:39 am #1976128Just a reminder that Deerfest will be coming to the Washington County fairgrounds the same weekend as our cache ba$h. It will draw 20,000 hunters over the 3 day weekend. Vendors are getting/needing hotels as well as deerfest participants. If you haven’t gotten a hotel, I’d suggest you book one ASAP. Tami
05/15/2014 at 5:24 pm #1976129I will be there Thursday through Sunday. Camping at near by camp ground just to get enough sleep eye to get me through the long power caching weekend.
05/15/2014 at 9:53 pm #1976130I stayed in the AmericInn the last two years. Got fed up with the lousy internet access, so I’m staying in Hartford this year. Depending on whether Betty decides to come with this year, I’ll get there some time on Friday and probably stay until after the pancake breakfast on Sunday.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
05/15/2014 at 10:10 pm #1976131Maybe this year, staying so close to Pike Lake, I’ll finally get to Pike Powder Hike. Although Deerfest sounds like an interesting distraction as well.

05/16/2014 at 4:15 pm #1976134We plan on attending Fri, Sat & Sun. It seems that the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in West Bend on Friday night has also become somewhat of a tradition for us on Cache Ba$h weekend, as is the official pancake breakfast on Sunday morning as well.
