I have signed up to attend the 2014 WGA Geo Picnic event. I on the event page it say that Nametag Pickup is from 8:30 – 11:30 AM. My question is how do I go about getting a WGA nametag? Do I have to sign up to get one? And how much do they cost?

Mike, to get a tag you go to the event page here to Upcoming Events, Nametags, fill in the info, which right now doesn’t look like it is available.

Hang tight, I’ll get into it later and get something posted.

I make the tags so I won’t be forgetting them. You will be able to pick them up anytime during the day, the timeline is just more of a guideline.

sweetlife adds the events to the page but ran into technical difficulties getting into the wga site. I did add the cache page link but there is no nametag link yet so I have to figure it out or get Team Black cat to do it for me.

    Hang tight!

The cost is $16. Ha! Just kidding. It’s free!

You can also make your own. A graphics editor, a printer, a laminator and you’re set.

That’s what I did. I made one with both the WGA and MIGO logos since I attend events in both Michigan and Wisconsin.

Wait, they’re only $16?! WA made me pay $48. You’re getting a sweet deal! 😉
