I have been asked to trade a few pathtags online this week. I would like to complete the trade, but I’m not sure how it works. Could some one shortly describe how trading online works?
Also what is the best way to ship pathtags?

05/25/2017 at 3:56 pm #2055245Hi there. Mrs Zeemanclan here. I will admit it. I am a pathtag addict. I will see if I can’t steer you in the right direction. Since you said you had people offer trades to you, if you go to your pathtag.com homepage and click on my stuff on the top of the screen, you should then see “my trade manager”. There is where you have the options to “view open”, “accept”, “send” and “log.” If you like the tag they have offered to trade with you, you can click on the accept trade. You also have room to send a message. This is where you would include your name and mailing address. Once you click “accept”, this trade will move to the “send” section where it will be until you send it. The best way to send pathtags is in a coin envelope (you can find these at any office supply store). However, I was only able to purchase about 500 at a time, which probably will not help you in this case. The easiest way would be to tape the pathtag (preferably still in the plastic wrapper) in between two index cards and place it in a card, or just send as is. As long as the pathtag isn’t floating around the envelope by itself…most of those end up escaping the envelope.
After you package it and send it, click sent. This trade will sit in your “view open” until your trading partner sends theirs. Then it will end up in the “log tags” portion of your trade manager. Once your tag arrives to their home, they will log it with the code on the back of the pathtag…and you will do the same. Then the trade will be complete!
I hope this makes sense. Its kind of hard to explain, but super easy and fun! I have been part of the community for quite some time, and have over 2500 completed online trades. Time goes by pretty quickly!
If you have questions, or would like to trade with me online just to get the idea, please let me know! I will be happy to trade with you so you can get the hang of things. Otherwise, I hope my explanation helps!
Have fun!!
