sort of looking for a cache mobile want a 4cyl or 6 4wd suv that will hopefully fit 2 kids and a car seat in the rear. Been looking at the escapes but not sure how all 3 will fit in the back seat what do you have for cache mobiles?

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

We have a 2012 Toyota RAV-4 that has room in the back seat for a child (toddler) seat and 2 other grandkids (10-13). You can also get a third seat on some RAV’s. We love it, but haven’t had anything other than Toyotas since 1990…

We have used several cars including:

    98 Mustang
    04 Escape Hybrid
    08 Dodge Dakota crew cab
    15 Focus

The last three on the list are still in use to day.

With three kids you may want to look for that third row seating. We have 2 young adults (19 and 21) and a 75 pound lab that we travel with. We have done a long trip in the Dakota, but it was cramped in the back seat.

The Escape is our main transport, but the dog usually has half of the rear cargo area to himself while the kids are in the back seat. They are a little crowded in there so as your kids get bigger that Escape may not be the best.

    Good luck
