Hello, my name is Becca and my geocaching name is fairly lame as Day is my middle name. I have lived in Waukesha for 12 years and then recently moved to Eau Claire. I am a wife and mother to 3 children and a dog. The 6 of us love getting out into the world and exploring through geocaching.

I discovered geocaching in 2010 and was instantly hooked. I love geocaching for a variety of reasons, my favorites are the hikes to interesting natural features. I didn’t discover the WGA until 2011 but again, I was hooked. I really liked how friendly and helpful people were in the forums and at events.

In 2013 I was elected to the Board of Directors of the WGA. I was very honored to be nominated and elected. I have enjoyed my time working on the board. My favorite part is getting to talk to our members at the events. I have met so many interesting people from all over Wisconsin, it has been a pleasure! I am always impressed by the different ways that members step up to help at our events (and in other ways) and share their time and talents.

I have helped the WGA in a variety of ways over the last two years and hope that you’ll elect me again for the next two. Along with participating in the forums and planning the events I have held the office of Secretary for the last year. I also took over the job of putting out the quarterly newsletter for the WGA. I love to write and share pictures but have always been especially impressed with the members and their contributions.
