Seriously. It’s today. I thought about just posting this in the drivel thread, but since The Squirrel does so much for the WGA website, it seems to be related to geocaching as we know it here in the Badger State.
We appreciate The Squirrel!

The squirrel is the absolute best! Thanks for all of your work all of the time!

Appreciating the Squirrel on his special day today.
Belated appreciation for the squirrel!
I spent way too much time watching those squirrel videos! 😯 I can tell you one thing, though. Squirrels do NOT hibernate! (That’s what was mentioned in the intro paragraph.) We see them all the time right now, and they are always at our bird feeders. There is one squirrel that has a regular route from the peanut feeder two doors to our north, along the front sidewalk, then into the yard to our south. We watched him one fall day while we were out there doing yard work. Yesterday, we didn’t bother to sweep off the dusting of snow we had, and there was a trail on the sidewalk all along the front of our house… but then it led to the yard to our south. He’s still at it!
We did NOT appreciate this squirrel we had at our house a few years ago:

I swear that squirrel is looking at you and saying…na na na nah boo boo!
