When will we get some snow? Hard to go snowshoeing in 2 inches of crusty snow. The Valley looks like a barren wasteland.

Come on over to the Chippewa Valley if you’d like some snow.  We just got another inch or two this morning.

Trekkin’ and Mr. Timberline Echo’s hometown of Hurley does not lack for snow…but I know what you mean.  I tried xc skiing once so far…kind of sucks, even with the little bit more snow we just got

ERRR…2″ now downgraded to 1 inch or less.

If I wanted Winters like this I would have stayed in Indiana. 🙂

If elected I promise to make a campaign promise that the new BOD member will come to each members house and shovel their walk!

I went snowshoeing in Rhinelander area this weekend. Plenty of snow, and the cross-country trails were freshly groomed, Birdin’. The area we were in, Washburn Lake Silent Sports Trails, has separate ski and snowshoe trails, and also has some trails groomed for striding or skating and other trails just for striding. GC111Z2 will get you to the right place.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

Oh shut up, this lack of snow actually encouraged me to get out there and cache and cross days off of my calender.

Sweet!  I call Noonan’s driveway!  The WGA is paying for my flight to Oregon, right?
