      I really wanted to go last year but my husband had been injured in a car accident and I couldn’t leave him to go.  I’m crossing my fingers that I get to go this weekend:

        I really want to go also.  I have been watching this and hoping to get to go this year.  If they open this weekend I plan on going providing I don’t have to work.

          I’m trying to find a place to stay but most places are sold out!  Ugh!  Wish we could camp but that would probably be a little chilly.

            I can’t wait for the lava tubes to open. Most things around here that are not on main roads shut down from Nov to April

                Should be a day trip from Eau Claire if you can’t find lodging.

                    Yep.  A day trip.  I have seen notes that some people are leaving in the middle of the night to get up there before the rush.  Of course, those folks may not have teenagers they need to get going.  😉
