Going Caching 2015 is an interactive, Renaissance-themed geocaching Mega-Event. The Going Caching Crew blends a little da Vinci Code mystery with Monty Pythonesque humor to give you 4 days and 7 events of rip-roaring geocaching fun! Upon registration, you’ll join and represent one of Seven Kingdoms while attending Going Caching 2015. The Seven Kingdoms play an integral part in the activities that await you. Only you can determine if your kingdom reins supreme. Be a knight, damsel, wench, artiste, or Medieval lord. Let your imagination run wild, for even dragons are welcome, too!

5:30pm to 9:00pm – Roman Trivia Classic at the Stadium (GCXXXXX)

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16

9:00am to 9:30am – Seven Kingdoms Challenge Coffee Klatch (GCXXXXX)

10:00am to 2:30pm – Coosa River Exploration aboard the Roman Holiday River Boat

6:00pm to 10:00pm – Comedy Night with Cometello (GCXXXXX)

9am to 5pm – Going Caching 2015 Mega-Event: A Roman Renaissance

ACTIVITIES

Trading Card “Escape Castello Sprezzatura” Adventure (Friday through Saturday)
Assemble puzzle pieces in your trading card packs to obtain the clues you need to explore and escape from Castello Sprezzatura.

Seven Kingdoms Challenge (Friday through Saturday)
Obtain your passport and embark on the Seven Kingdoms Challenge that takes you throughout the seven hills of Rome. Your stamped passport gains you entry into the tournament games where you demonstrate your Medieval prowess and ingenuity before the Queen. The first 500 geocachers to complete the challenge will receive a special Seven Kingdoms Challenge trackable geocoin.

Lab Caches (Thursday through Sunday)
Enjoy outside-of-the-box geocaching creations by the Going Caching Crew. Rules? We don’t need no stinking rules!

Roman Holiday Riverboat Rides (Friday and Saturday)
Explore the Coosa River while cruising aboard the Roman Holiday Riverboat. Who knows … you might find a special geocache or two during the voyage.
