We’re thinking maybe we want some new toys. Those toys would be fat tire bikes. We aren’t looking at the hard core racing and stuff like zoesbrother or rayfamily likes to do, but thought they’d be fun for hitting off road trails and two tracks. I guess I’m saying we don’t need the best or really great, but serviceable ones that can take us onto those crappy, rocky or sandy roads more often frequented by the ATV crowd.

What should we look for, and does anyone have suggestions? I see even Wally World has these….one is a Kawasaki model for under 500 bucks. That’s kind of as much as we’d want to spend at this point. Also, if there are any conversions or models that don’t have you leaning way forward, that’s a big plus.

I think that a novice should go to a reputable bike shop and get a bike that fits them and is set up properly.

Fat tires, aluminum frame, comfort saddle, and any other great features will end up sitting in the garage if it doesn’t fit and isn’t any fun.
