Not sure where this topic should go, but I figured some folks could use some “help” getting into the WGA site.
I haven’t had this problem, but others have in the past day or two. When trying to access the WGA website, they have been denied access because they have been determined to be “fake Google crawlers”. Don’t know if it’s their devices, their browsers, their GC names, or maybe even their shady reputations ( 😉 ), but if you have experienced this recently or know of someone who has, a few details could possible help figure out what the problem is and how to fix it.
Please share…
Brian is working on the problem now, it has to do with WordFence it is our website security program
Thanks, Barry. (and Brian)
I had asked some of those members to send me a screen shot so we knew exactly what to troubleshoot. Great news is everyone got blocked today so TBC saved the day. Barry also knew where to go and what the issue was so glad he too was around.
Following the signals from space.
I’ve had better success getting in lately after having been locked out…was a “fake Google crawler”??? Interesting…have been referred to by lots of interesting names but this one tops the list. LOL.
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
I was a victim of the fake google crawler, but have been able to get in now for a couple days. I do get told I don’t have permission to access the forums, even though I’m logged in, but it just requires that I try a second time. No biggie.

You’ve been called names? I certainly wouldn’t know by who. *whistles and walks away*
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
Where's George? Stimulating the economy one EMS'ed dollar at a time.
This should be solved to the best of my knowledge.
