I was going through some stuff in my son’s room and came across a bunch of geocaching signature items he had collected over the years. I was surprised to find this in the mix. Does anyone else still have one of these? Was this the precursor to the WGA geocoins? LOL Thought it was an interesting find.

Cool find! The first WGA geocoin was minted in 2005.
I didn’t know there was a button made prior to that for the 2004 campout. I do know there was a refrigerator magnet made for the original 2001 campout. I have one of those; I ought to post of picture of it sometime. Were there any buttons/magnets/? made for the 2002 & 2003 campouts?
Grouse Tales (Brian) made the 2001 magnets for the first campout. I think JeremyV made the 2004 buttons but I’m not certain. I have some of each.
Cool! I wish we had pictures on the website of the history of the WGA.

That’s exactly one of the things I was investigating. When the new website was launched, two things I was counting on disappeared. The photo albums, going back to 2002, and the original thread stealers forum, which believe it or not had a rich history preserved. There might be other forum topics that were archived as well but not sure about that since some are still in place from 2002.
I actually went through those old photo albums when putting together the Meet the WGA series and used some of the pictures in a whole bunch of photo collages. How can we get the photo albums from the old website back?

Team Black Cat has all the info from the old website stored.
