I want to stay on top of those finding all 47 WGA SPS caches so I can send out the Completed All 47 pathtag but I think the current custom plug-in on the site may need updating since my finds have not updated since Sept.

I am looking for advice on a macros to go out and count how many caches in a database have been found by users (cachers).

Lots of smart people here that should be able to assist.

Just check out the most recent version of the list, see who might be close, then dig a bit deeper on each or send those cachers a PM to ask if they are done. Or ask here in the forums, then check them out if they respond “yes”. There can’t be too many to check on. As for us, we are still ten away, so don’t bother looking at our stats.

Can’t help on any macro for future use.

In addition to the four who got their pathtags at your event, WA, the definite finishers are geolivestrong, Trekkin’ and Birdin’, WI_pattymel, natloh2, and beccaday. You can get their tags sent out right now. There are a few others who are close, but I don’t know if they have completed the series yet or not.

You could also send out pathtags to finishers only if they fill out an application through the WGA website that they have finished the series. This will show their desire to get a pathtag (some do the caches just for fun or for the satisfaction of completion) and it will also get their mailing address if you don’t have that. Some of the names of people who appear to be working on the challenge are ones who I don’t recognize as being WGA members.

Yes, thank you Pat. I do have the list printed and sitting with the pathtags and they will go out after Christmas when I come back to Neenah.

    Good ideas.

I am exploring more of the WGA site now that I upgraded with a faster laptop.    I am impressed with the WGA SP cache listings in each profile and the stamps of completion of the state areas.  I was reviewing Lacknothing and saw their completion of all 47 SP caches as well.     Sorry I can’t help with the macro.
