Hello all!

My name is Becca aka Graphicsgirl19. I had started geocaching with my dad when I was younger but four years ago, I rediscovered it when I was in college and a classmate asked me if I knew about it. Since then, I have gone geocaching as much as I can. I have met some really amazing people doing it. I have been to numerous events and have gotten a few neighbors into it as well. Right now, I am looking forward to traveling outside the US for the first time later in the fall of 2016 and gaining a few souvenirs in other countries.

My favorite caching adventure was a few years ago. My dad and I went for a motorcycle trip up to the Hurley area. I found a series called the Montreal Mine series. The series of caches led us to areas of abandoned mine shafts and buildings (see picture). Driving by on the highway, you never would have guessed it was there. It also led us to meet a local who knew all about the mine when it was running. He was very interested in what we were doing and offered to show us various other spots of the mines. I highly recommend it if you are ever up in the area.
