Help Clean Up Buttermilk Creek Park!!!

Earn a Souvenir while helping out the environment!!! April 16-24th is Geocaching CITO week with CITO events taking place all around the world, plus you earn another cool Souvenior.

After contacting John Redmond, Park & Forestry Superintendent for the city of Fond Du Lac, about where there was some need for help with cleaning up in the city after winter he mentioned Buttermilk Creek Park. This is a beautiful park that it will be great to help clean it up for summer.

At the park you can enjoy bands and music throughout the summer at the bandshell and concessions(during events), a creek, vast open grass, a hill, basketball courts, tennis courts, picnic shelter, and more!

When:

Tuesday April 19th, from 5:30pm-6:30 show up when you can, the more hands there are the faster it will go. If you want to clean longer I’ll be game as well.

What To Bring:

You can bring if wanted, gloves, grabbers/pickers to grab garbage, appropriate clothing for weather and activity. I’ll provide bags for collecting garbage as well as I’ll bring some water and cups and some lite snacks for the crew at the end.

Where:

Buttermilk Creek Park, meet at the picnic awning by the north parking lot. (Near the coords of event)
