Hello! I have been using the geocaching classic app to geocache since I started  and have finally decided to buy a gps. I am curious what gps units you guys have been using. I have been looking  at the garmin eTrex 20x. Thank you 🙂

I have a Garmin GPSmap 62s which I really like but your choice is an excellent one. I think if you explore this website, you’ll find that this subject has been discussed before and you’ll find some thoughts on it.

I had a Garmin GPSmap 62s  for years and just got a Garmin GPSmap 64s .  I think I just didn’t want to learn anything new.  😉  But it works well and it’s reasonably priced.

If the reviews are good for the new Oregon 700 I’m going to reward myself with one very soon. I need a bright spot in my life right now.

I use the Montana 650T.  It is somewhat pricey, but I waited until I got a good deal.  I love the bigger screen.  Downfall it can’t do Wherigo’s but I still have my Oregon 550T to use for that.

Oregon 600 here. While there are many good things with this over the older 400 series, let’s hope for more improvements with the 700 series.

We are working with an eTrex20 as well as an Oregon 650t. We like the accuracy of the eTrex20 but the navigation skills of the 650.

We have a Garmin Oregon 450 and a Garmin GPSMAP62S, both which work great, and a Garmin Oregon 650 which is plagued with inaccuracy.  Etrex units always seem to be reliable, as do Oregon 450 & 550 series.
