Sooooo while thinking about working on a new geo-art series I remembered the pain of creating over 100 cache pages and how time consuming that was I wanted a better way to deal with that. Being a software guy I decided to come up with a solution and created this tool: http://cjstolte.com/portfolio-item/geocaching-mass-import/

Basically you fill in all the cache page information into an excel document with a cache per line, run the tool, select the file, and let the program fill in the website for you. So now you can use the power of copy paste in excel, not have to deal with the multi page cache submission process and let it do all the clicks and work for you. More features to be implemented in it, but I thought I would share for those Cache Hiders that thinks it could be of benefit to them.

    Check it out: http://cjstolte.com/portfolio-item/geocaching-mass-import/

Chris – What a great tool for the power trail caches! I’m sure many WGA members will benefit from your talents and sharing your skills. Many Thanks from the WGA BOD for this contribution.

Created a video demo tonight to give a taste to how it works. I know not many will benefit but hopefully some are able to and utilize it.

    WOW!

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Finally got around to updating this Wednesday night since geocaching changed up some of the submission pages a “long” time ago breaking this fun tool. http://cjstolte.com/portfolio-item/geocaching-mass-import/
