High temps in the 90s, lows in the 70s, Heat index 100+

what are your plans for this weekend? How will you stay cool, or will you even try to stay cool?

Night caching only, while slathered in DEET so you can make it back alive?

No caching plans here, but we haven’t been doing too much of that even when the weather’s nice. Last weekend was our binge. We’d have liked to do more hiking in the Kickapoo, but too hot for that, probably. For me…yoga in the morning, where the heat is always at 95 degrees anyway. Maybe some paddling in the kayak. I fell off the paddleboard at SUP yoga last night and it felt really good!

Hoping everyone stays hydrated at this weekends’ events!

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Looks like we are headed to Ocnononononomoc! That’ll be memory inspiring.

Movie day today – Legend of Tarzan. Oconomowoc Event tomorrow. Sounds like the weather will be giving me a free radiation treatment, I’m hoping to stay at the event for about 3 hours in the morning and then go home a cook down for a couple of hours and then return for the emotional meeting with friends in the park. I’m very nervous. It will be emotional, especially if Chris starts crying before me.

It was 116 in Nevada when we were driving through there yesterday. I was just praying that our car wouldn’t break down.
