There is unrest
in the Geo-Empire.
It is a period of war as
sinister Rebel geocachers from

powerful geocaches in Cache Ba$h territory.
The geocachers of Washington County banded
together to form an army known as The Alliance.Hoping to outwit and out-hide the Rebel forces,
The Alliance has been strategically hiding their own clever
geocaches assisted by a small rogue group of Freedom Fighters.
Jedis have been dispatched to restore peace and order. In the tenth year
of the Ba$h, the Alliance and Rebel forces prepare to battle and seize power
fueled by hider Favorite Points….

Registration:

TO REGISTER: Log a “WILL ATTEND” on this cache page. Then, you must also SIGN IN at Regner Park on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning during the event to sign the official log book.

Drawstring goody bags with coupons, city information, and various contest entry forms will be available on a first come, first serve basis at Regner Park. Registered teams will also receive the Official Cache Ba$h Booklet and a cash raffle ticket for each member of the team that is present. The raffle is on Saturday, August 12, at 6:00pm. You must be present to win.

 


What is there to do at the Ba$h?

West Bend Geotour This series of 20 geocaches highlights the best of West Bend, showing you some of its historical, cultural, and recreational places of interest. Complete the Passport to earn a unique geocoin. To learn more, follow this link . We can also send the cache coordinates to your device at the park, and you can receive your coin upon completion. Available all year.
$1000 Cash Prize Drawing
Every registered person who signs in at Regner Park automatically gets a raffle ticket.

1st prize=$500, 2nd=$250, 3rd=$100, 4th=$100, 5th=$50. Must be present to win.
General Prize Drawing In the past, prizes have included GPS receivers, geocoins, cache containers, gift certificates, and more. Each registered team can earn raffle tickets by finding our 66 geocaches, playing geo-bingo, or playing other official games. Must be present to win.
Cache Ba$h Geocoin for Sale A limited edition 2017 West Bend Cache Ba$h Geocoin will be sold on a first come, first served basis at Regner park.
Geocaching Classes! Geocaching 101 will help you learn the basics of geocaching. Extra class(es) will be taught for those interested in further topics (trackables, pocket queries, puzzles, etc)
Lab Caches In addition to the 66 Raffle Caches, there will be special Lab Caches only available during our event!
Cache Ba$h Souvenir Earn a Virtual Souvenir on your Geocaching profile by logging an ‘Attended’ Log on Aug 12

Geo-bingo Find teams that match squares on your bingo card (found in your goody bag) to earn a raffle ticket for the General Prize Drawing
Children’s activities A Bounce House will be available at the park all day on Saturday!
Free pool and splash pad pass Participants will have free use of the pool and splash pad for one day of their choice at Regner Park thanks to West Bend Parks Department (coupons in goody bag)
Geocoin and Travel Bug Exchange There will be a specified place and time to exchange trackable items. Stay tuned.
Wisconsin Geocaching Association booth Stop by to learn about the WGA and play some bonus fun games!
Vendors There will be a variety of geocaching vendors and educators at the event. Food vendors will not be present.
Signal the Frog! Signal the Frog will be at our event! Say hello!
Chicago Podcasters Listen to your favorite Chicago Podcasters, Walt and Scott, as they air live at the Ba$h.
Sunday Pancake Breakfast Sunday All-you-can eat Pancake Breakfast at Regner Park – by Wisconsin Geocaching Association. Plus more fun games.
Other satellite events Wednesday and Thursday Meet and Greets, Friday CITO and Flash Mob, Sunday Photo Scavenger Hunt. See schedule for details

Cache Ba$h X Schedule of Events
Stay tuned! There are typically pre-event activities that start Wednesday and last through Sunday! The main raffle is on Saturday.
We plan to have a Geocaching 101 class on both Friday AND Saturday this year!

 


Attention Dog Owners! According to West Bend ordinance, pets are not allowed in city parks, including Regner Park. West Bend has an off-leash dog park: “Rolf’s Park” is comprised of 10 fenced-in acres and is only 5 minutes from Regner Park…Cache Ba$h Headquarters!As an attendee of our event, you may use Rolf’s Park at no charge.
