5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

A quick half-hour, no-frills meet and greet to celebrate my 2,000 find.  It is just in a parking lot, so there’s no seating, food, or restrooms…although there are quite a few restaurants and gas stations nearby!  So why come?  Because this event has a dramatic conclusion!

Why is this “up in the air”? 

* Will I actually be able to get to 2,000 by that date?

* Immediately following the meet & greet, a co-worker and I are taking a hot air balloon ride!

* There’s always the chance the weather won’t cooperate and the flight won’t take place that evening.

However, if the winds are right, at 6:15 p.m. we begin our pre-flight orientation, after which, you are welcome to come see us take off.  I am hoping a few of you might come for the launch.
