Let’s celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary and earn the Canada Day 2017 souvenir! This souvenir is exclusive to Canada’s sesquicentennial (150th) anniversary and we’re excited to celebrate with the Canadians on their birthday. We hope you’ll join us for this summer time Meet-n-Greet.

Place: Little Girl’s Point County Park  E1930 Lake Road, Ironwood, MI, 49938

Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Group Picture: 2:30pm  We’ll get a group photo as we wave at our Canadian geo-friends 102 miles across Lake Superior.

As this is a birthday party, we will have a birthday cake and soft drinks to share. Feel free bring any party treats to share, but it’s not required. Electrical power is available in the pavilion.  Restrooms, playground and Lake Superior beach access is also on the grounds. Go to https://www.gogebicforestryandparks.com/little-girl-s-point-county-park for more information about the park.

Little Girl’s Point is always a fun place to search for agates for those that would like to spend a little time sifting through the beach pebbles and enjoy some Lake Superior time.

The event will be at the park pavilion so come out to enjoy rain or shine.
