The WGA is looking for one or more members to assist with putting on a Geo101 for the Earth Day Eco Fair in Clear Lake, WI. It will be held Saturday August 26th. The goal is to draw people to the park and continue the vision of Gaylord Nelson in protecting our planet while offering family activities throughout the day.
Their committee began in order to celebrate and preserve the vision of Clear Lake native Senator Gaylord Nelson who created Earth Day. We did an Earth Day event in his honor in April. The August event is an extension of the April event however, geared to getting people out and into enjoying, appreciating and preserving our beautiful Earth.
