This is a water based event. To participate a watercraft of some type will be required.

The event is named after the puzzle series based on the history of Menasha ( Laughing Waters ) which is what the native Americans called the  sounds that emanated from the twin falls on either side of the island of Menasha. Mix that together with the series by sloughfoot, based on the 1973 book The Trail of the Serpent: The Fox River Valley, Lore and Legend, which discusses the history of the Fox River and the people along it.
The event will begin at 11:00 at the posted coords. Reference points for putting in your watercraft have been added at Herb and Dolly Smith Park as well as Fritse Park in Neenah.

At 11:30 we will leave the GZ, beginning the trek down the Fox River to the landing zone of Lutz Park in Appleton (see listed reference point).

Approximate travel time from the GZ in the middle of Little Lake Butte de Morte to Lutz should be about 100 minutes without other stops along the way.

Travel distance is right at 5 miles from the listed coords to the Lutz Park boat landing.

At Lutz Park, if you would like, I will provide a kayak and canoe shuttle back to Neenah. Lutz has plenty of parking.

11:00 event begins at posted coords.

11:30 event officially ends.

If interested after that, we will head down river towards Lutz Park 5 miles away which should take approximately 100 minutes.
