Back in October 2014, we found Beverly. It was at that point we realized that you can still get older caches, and we started looking at the Jasmer Grid. Every time we took a trip, we always scouted for old caches that were missing from our grid. A couple trips to the East Coast every other year helped out. Having only eight slots left in the grid, at the start of 2017, we targeted a goal of finishing the grid this year.
Finding most of the old “Jasmer” caches in Wisconsin, we still ranged from Erie PA, to Boston, MA, to Sleepy Hollow, NY, to Kansas City, MO, to Waterloo, IA, and Maumee. OH, culminating on Power Island, MI, we finished August 12 2017.
We got to see some neat things along the way, and found some cool older (and newer) caches. It was quite the adventure and we are thankful that many people keep these older caches active.
Now what’s next, Double Jasmer?

Congrats! Sounds like you had a great time.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

10/10/2017 at 10:05 pm #2056493Congratulations. The Jasmer is something I haven’t given a lot of thought to. Maybe some day.
