Come out to celebrate International Geocaching Day 2018 with fellow geocachers! Enjoy a virtual souvenir, great conversation, and a cookie!
As we are relatively new to the area, we’ve been waiting for a good opportunity to get to a ‘meet and greet’ event, but thought what better day to meet geocachers than on International Geocaching Day! The time is from 9:00am – 10:00am, so there will still be plenty of time to go geocaching during the day. No need to bring anything besides whatever you’d like to drink and possibly a lawn chair. We will provide some “homemade” cookies from one of the grocery stores in town for everybody. 🙂
I called the Sun Prairie Parks and Rec Dept today to ask about reserving the picnic shelter in Renstone Park, but it is not reservable – so hopefully we can claim it! Otherwise, we will just set up shop at another picnic table in the park. We will be holding it rain or shine (hopefully shine!) – but will send out an annoucement if it’s REALLY terrible weather.

What to Bring: Just bring your own beverages and possibly a lawn chair!
Don’t Forget: to log a ‘Will Attend’ with approximately how many so we have a guess as to how many “homemade” cookies to “bake”. 🙂
