Help Clean up the Park!

Everyone is Welcome! Whether you are a Geocacher or not!

Geocachers, earn your CITO virtual souvenir by attending this event!

SCHEDULE:

  • 9:00-9:30am – Arrival, Sign the log sheet, and pick up a garbage bag.
  • 9:30am – Group Picture
  • After the group picture – Disperse throughout the park (individually or in groups) to clean up the trails / beach area while hiking and/or caching. It was brought to my attention that the beach area may need the most attention.
  • 9:00 – 11:00 am: Coffee, snacks, and a 5 gallon water cooler (to refill water bottles) will be provided.

DETAILS:

  • FREE Park entry for CITO volunteers. Mention that you are taking part in the CITO Geocaching Event.
  • Garbage bags will be provided. You may want to bring your own work gloves and/or pick up tools.

The park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Directions

From Interstate Highway 94 in Hudson, go south on County Highway F. Go about 7.7 miles to Cedar View Road (820th Avenue). Turn right and go about 0.2 miles; the park entrance will be on your left.

  • From U.S. Highway 10, go about 1.2 miles east of Prescott, go north on State Highway 29 about 1.2 miles to County Highway F. Turn left (north) onto County Highway F and go 5.2 miles to Cedar View Road (820th Avenue). Turn left and go about 0.2 miles; the park entrance will be on your left.
  • Geographic coordinates are 44° 50′ 14.10″ N, 92° 44′ 7.31″ W.
