The 2019 WGA FALL PICNIC will be held at Lakeview Park in the Village of Rib Lake. This park is nestled next to Rib lake, at 320 acres, has 2 public boat landings, 3 public docks wheel chair accessible, and public bathrooms. The fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. Other activities include swimming, and water skiing, canoeing, kayaking boating and even local ATV trails.
The pavilion at Lakeview Park is reserved for the event.
For camping in the park click here. There are 27 sites available for tents, campers, 5th wheel and pull behind trailers. All sites have water and electrical hook-ups. 7 sites have 50 amp electrical, while the remaining 20 have 20/30 amp electrical. All sites are located in the wooded park on a hilltop above scenic Rib Lake. All sites are non-reservable and first come, first served.
For those looking for a little more adventure Pine Island campground is a primitive camping site. The location is a two acre island located in the southeast corner of Rib Lake’s 320 acre lake. There are three sites set up for tent camping, which include fire rings. It is a perfect location to have privacy and experience remote camping. You will need a boat, canoe or kayak to access the island and begin this unique camping experience.

The WGA has come across some authentic Pathtags LCR dice. This means that if you are feeling lucky with those tags and want to try a shake at a fast-paced, high-stakes, pathtag swapping dice game, just look around for the crazies in the corner “throwing the bones” wagering their Pathtags. Who knows, some lucky cacher may even find themselves taking home their very own set of dice.
