Congratulations to labgal13 for completing the WGA State Park Series. Here is her log for her final state park cache, Rock Island:
What a journey! Got up at 4:30 am and drove the 2 hours for ferry 1. Got the first ferry in the morning as Rock Island doesn’t have many ferries running this time of year. Made the mile treck out to the coast. Appreciated the waypoints which helped to find the correct trail. There were actually people camping near GZ. Made the descent down the bluff and tried to dodge the waves but there was no getting around them today. Ended up with water up to the waist. But…we got the cache! Thank you for the fun journey. This is one we’ll never forget and my final 47th WGA State Park series cache.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
Congrats! That’s an ambitious undertaking!
I’m jealous, completing the series, but more jealous of the adventure.

I can’t wait to complete mine!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
