Do you like adventure? Is hide-and-go-seek on your top 10 list of fun things to do? You will love geocaching. Geocaching uses GPS location services to hide small, and sometimes large, containers for others to find.
Age does not matter. Skill and agility do not matter. This is a game/sport anyone can play.
Maverick and JuLee Martin (MavWitt) will host a Geocaching 101 class at Bethany Church from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
If you are a seasoned geocacher, come and share your stories. If you are curious about geocaching come and meet some great people.
We will serve some light refreshments, explain and demonstrate how to find a cache, and possibly go find a cache if the weather is good.
We will continue to meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month to go geocaching or play games if the weather is bad. There is no commitment. Come to as many or as few events as you like.
Come and have some fun! Bring your friends too.
There is no charge for this event. Please log a “Will Attend” so we can have enough refreshments for everyone.
