NEXT:
LOCATION (as if the GPS coordinates were not enough) The location of the event is in Colby, Kansas, the first city northwest of Mingo following Interstate Highway I-70. (But you already knew that from the coordinates.) In Colby you will find all the amenities – places to sleep, places to stay cool in the May heat of Kansas, places to eat, places to “use the facilities,” places to visit with new friends from around the world, a place you can even call home if you enjoy Colby that much. For lodging and parking details, see the website mingo2020.com for additional details. #MingoMadness ADVENTURES, ENTERTAINMENT AND DIVERSIONS We will be cramming the day with lots of crazy activities. It will be MADNESS! If you have ever considered making the journey across lands near and far (and maybe oceans too) to visit the oldest active geocache in the world, this would be the time to do it. Come see Mingo (GC30) with your own eyes. Hold it in your own hands. Sign the Mingo logbook at Mingo. Sign the event logbook in Colby. This is the best time for you to do that, on the 20th Anniversary of the Creation of Geocaching. When you come, we will all be there with you. For a list (long list) of activities, see the website mingo2020.com for additional details. AND MORE! In addition to the activities mentioned on the mingo2020.com website, we will also have the following, just for you… …SURPRISES, LOTS OF SURPRISES… DID YOU KNOW: MINGO spelled backwards is madness. He posted coordinates of N 45° 17.460’ W122° 24.800’ on the Internet at sci.geo.satellite-nav. 2. May 7. GC4-Mike’s First 3. May 7. GC5-Secret Lava Bed 4. May 8. GC10-Divine stash 5. May 9.
