This years fall campout will be held at Buckhorn State Park, established in 1971, includes a 4,500-acre park and wildlife area, a peninsula in the Castle Rock Flowage of the Wisconsin River, and land along the Yellow River–a paradise for water recreationists, hunters, hikers and nature lovers. There are 68 family campsites that can accommodate tents or trailers. Each family site has a picnic table and campfire ring.There are also 50 cart-in/backpacking sites. Other features of the park include a two-level accessible wildlife blind, accessible cabin, accessible fishing pier and waterfowl hunting blinds. The event will be held from 9am-3pm. This is in the planning stages. Stay posted for updates on activities.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE PICNIC

• Your own meat to grill if you have a special taste. We will provide a limited number of burgers, brats and hot dogs.
• Table setting for you and your family
• Lawn chairs if you want them
• Beverages for your group
• A FOOD ITEM TO SHARE.

Please Note: Because of the cancellation of our spring event, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Wisconsin reviewers have granted a one-time waiver of the restrictions for event stacking for this event and the Fall Campout scheduled for the previous day.
