We’ll gather at our horse barn so even if it rains, we can have plenty of space to tell geocaching tall-tales, swap pathtags, discover and swap trackables and drop subtle hints about puzzles encountered.  Plenty of parking on the lawn, it is not a fancy lawn! There will be a prize drawing for some fun stuff before a group photo at 9:30 am. We’ll have some snacks and beverages on hand.  Be aware that there are no restrooms available at the farm. We will be following whatever the current CDC guidelines will be by the day of the event. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, please do so.

There are over 40 well-established caches in the Boyceville area, including a PNG series, solve-on-site puzzles, head-scratching puzzles, scenic hiking caches and even a straight-forward multi. PLUS there will be the optional “Woodland Wander” after the meet and greet! We have placed over 10 new caches in our woods set to be published the day of the event! The caches include a couple of Large caches, because there just aren’t enough of those around. We also put up a D1.5/T4.5 that is “winter friendly to 20 feet”. If you don’t have the right TOTT, you can borrow ours for the trek. Finding all of the caches will require hiking at least 3 miles. To avoid a FTF stampede, all event attendees who find any/all of the new caches can claim a co-FTF. (No claiming an FTF from the comfort of the meet and greet!)

There are two puzzle caches located on the farm that you need to solve ahead of time, The Buzzard and Birds of a Feather. Normally these are premium caches, but for the days leading up to the event and for a few after, to allow for logging, they will be available for everyone
