Join Geocaching Hampton Roads for our 14th Annual Picnic!

When: Saturday, September 3rd (Labor Day Weekend)
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Where: Newport News Park
Who: Open to all geocachers, families, and anyone interested in geocaching.
What: A social get-together to meet fellow cachers, exchange stories, learn about different aspects of caching, swap TB’s, oh yea, and some caching thrown in there too!
Newport News Park is an 8,000 acre park with two fresh water reservoirs is one of the largest municipal parks east of the Mississippi. It features bicycle and boat rental, 188-site campground, golf course, horse show arena, interpretive programs, wildlife rehabilitation center, picnic shelters, playground, restrooms, stages, 30 miles of hiking trails, 5-mile mountain bike trail, and 5.3 mile bikeway, picnic shelters, and much much more!!! Personal boats (no gas motors) may be launched for a $4.00 fee.

Join us for Games, Vendors, Information sessions, LUNCH and much more! Event time will be from 9:00 – 5:00 (As well as other events throughout the weekend!)
