Nighttime fun at the West Bend Cache Ba$h August 10th!
Let’s try to make GLOW STICK MAGIC!
What to bring: Bright Glow Sticks! (your “Magic Wands”) (Note: A limited supply will be handed out if you don’t have one.) Bonus points for dressing in wizard or magic fashion!
When and Where: Friday night, 8:15pm, at Picnic Area 6. (Near the Pavilion)
Concept:We’re going to set a camera on long exposure time and try to make magic “art” as we move our glow sticks in the dark. Check back on the event page to see our finished photo! It won’t be completely dark at 8:15, so this is a risky experiment, but we’ll have fun either way!
Ideas to try:
*Run around fast with your glow stick to create long crazy streaks.
*Sprint back and forth in a straight line with several friends to create a “Northern Lights” effect.
*Throw your glow sticks up in the air to create a comet-like effect, or back and forth to a partner in a large arc to create a rainbow.
*Stand in place and wave your glow stick quickly in a repeated pattern to create a circle, heart, or star.
*Stand in place with several friends to spell out a word like “Magic” using your glow sticks (make sure your letters face the camera the right way)

After the Flash Mob, join in some nighttime fun with the “A NIGHT AT HOGWARTS” Lab Adventure! 10 Harry Potter-themed Lab Caches will be available in Regner Park from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. Feel free to wear wizard and magic-themed gear to the Flash Mob and Night Caches!
