The Moon will be in its First Quarter at half-illumination on a clear night. There may be other illumination affects in place for this Sunday night, the day before the actual solstice day.
Where: Bayview Beach Parking Lot
When: Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 7 – 8 pm
What to Bring: Flashlight/ headlamp, and perhaps a camp chair
The plan will be to meet at the parking lot and then hike along the lakeshore for a bit. Weather depending of course. Dress accordingly.
Clovid-19 protocols will be in place. BRING AND WEAR YOUR MASK! SOCIAL DISTANCING! HAND SANTIZER WILL BE AVAILABLE!
What happens in case of bad weather? We will use the picnic shelter and may shorten the time of the event. But if weather makes for poor road conditions then – Stay tuned for future notes from the CO on the cache page as an announcement.
