Welcome to the official start of Winter here in Wisconsin

The Winter Solstice fell back on a Saturday so let’s celebrate. The days will begin to grow longer, it is the last few days before Christmas and we have already had measurable snow.

The Meet and Greet will run on December 21st from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the posted coordinates. Stop by for the whole time or just a little bit and visit with other geocachers.

At the coordinates, you’ll find a spot to grab a warm (or cold) drink and something to eat before heading out for some last minute Christmas shopping or even a few caches.

Similar to the previous years, several new caches will have been published in the area before the event. We always go for matching new caches to the day of the month- fingers crossed if we can get that to happen again for 2019.
