07/28/2009 at 3:12 am #1911341What the h e double toothpicks do you people do besides geocache if you can find 10,000 of these things. It boggles my mind!!!
07/28/2009 at 12:05 pm #1911342Thanks everyone for the kudos! Its been a fun five years caching. I’ve enjoyed meeting and making new friends, challenging my body and mind on some caches, and getting to see aspects of the country (and abroad) that I probably would not have ventured out to see without geocaching. Its been a great eduactional lesson on many different levels including: how much weight can that log hold before it breaks; how far really is 30 feet; a strategy is the best plan of attach and if you “accidently” miss a cache it was probably intuition telling you not to go for it because 9 out of 10 times its a DNF; the timer on the camera stops working if the camera is sitting on a metal post (go figure — stil haven’t figured out why that is yet!); you can get poison ivy if you don’t know what it looks like; there are a lot of creative people out there.
Thanks everyone, see you on the trails! 😀

To asnwer your question somewhat on what I’ve done: work full time, changed jobs, earn an undergraduate degree, earn a Master’s degree, watched my son play in athletic events, workout at the gym, read (a lot), golf, sew, cook, bake, travel, dinner with friends, go to Brewer’s games….just to name some. 😉
07/28/2009 at 12:45 pm #1911344You forgot ‘making lists’! 😯 😀
Here’s to 20K in 2014! 😉
07/28/2009 at 7:49 pm #1911345Congrats BQ on the 10K. Thats a lot of poison ivy!

Holy Cow…and I thought I was busy. What a tremendous collection of accomplishments. You deserve WAY more kudos than getting 10K caches but since this is a caching forum…SPECTACULAR!!!
