I will contact him tomorrow for you to feel it out.
I am also thinking it might be a terminology thing. We usually call it a “Clean Up, Green Up” day in Parks & Recreation.
It might also be they are unsure of the level of involvement they might need to have with it and if they have staff that can this year. Really, other than if they can give you trash bags and gloves, tell you where they want the trash bags when you are done, you do not need anything else from them. They may need a liability statement signed by those helping but you can do that at sign in easy enough.

Thank you so much for helping us out with this! I really can not express in words on how thankful I am that you are willing to help out with this!
I am hoping that we can bridge .. more CITO’s mean more postive PR for geocaching ..
SUCCESS!
Tom replied to my Parks & Rec email … Coastie, I will email you privately on this too.

Renee:
We’re open to anyone assisting the Oshkosh Parks Department with cleaning in the springtime. I have to suggest, though, that Roe Park is relatively small. Would the group be open to other park properties along with Roe?
I am leaving for vacation starting tomorrow, and will be back to work on February 23rd. Hopefully, we can connect after I get back.
Thanks for the offer to help clean.
Tom
Auntienae, that is just awesome! and yes we are very open to cleaning other parks also!
Thank you again for helping us out!
I made a contact today that may be willing to donate some “Gifts” for a Cito event. He also has the ability to print logos on T shirts for a fee of course but I may be able to strike a deal.
Hey found this on the GC.com Forum thought since we are having these CITO events, This might help out a little
