Although I cannot claim I do not procrastinate, I think the scouting and planning for the 2008 event should be done during the 2007 camping season.
Team Outcast is checking our schedules for May 18-20, 2007 at Hartman Creek.
(I think we almost camped there last fall, but chose Calumet County’s campground on the East side of Lake Winnebago. That was real nice.)
01/22/2007 at 11:49 pm #1768704anyone have trudy camping info for this area? what cities? what hotels?
01/23/2007 at 12:03 am #1768705I think Waupaca is the nearest, not entirely sure. But they have plenty of rooms available there.
I might actually come camping at this one. If you promise it wont rain. Can’t make definite plans yet as my wife says she can’t think past next week.

If your question is, “What is the definition of Trudy Camping?” the answer is (originated in these forums by Trudy and the Beast): staying in a hotel, motel or Bed & Breakfast.

We can thank Geoffnsara for that. 🙂
01/24/2007 at 7:05 pm #1768710thanks, gram and gramps. our trailer is up on blocks this year, so we needed the hotels instead of camping.
01/29/2007 at 10:33 pm #1768711We Trudy camped in the area this weekend… One of the motels.. think it was the Best Western has a big water park inside. It was filled so we went to the Comfort Suites and got the last room. Very nice too.

Does anyone know of other campgrounds in the area?– Michael

02/08/2007 at 4:50 am #1768714I have to work all weekend. Hartmans is my favorite park! I swear that if I would have known a week ago……. 👿
02/21/2007 at 5:49 am #1768715Heck – it might even be time for the Green Bay Paddlers to make a return to the WGA Campout. I’ve been known to flip some pancakes in the past, and mommy and Spencer would have a blast out caching. Much to discuss…

Jeff of Green Bay Paddlers = entertainment :). What a blast we had at the 1st pancake breakfast.
