Ideas for the 2008 WGA Campout T-shirt logoWe are going to be offering t-shirts, hoodie sweatshirts and crew sweatshirts for sale again this year for the campout and we are looking for ideas as to what we can print on the front of them.
Win a free t-shirt!
We will be awarding one free t-shirt to the person submitting the winning design. The winning design will be chosen by the campout committee and the WGA Board of Directors from all of the submissions.With the vendor we have chosen to print the shirts we can have up to 6 colors in the logo plus the color of the shirt itself. The vendor has also agreed to work with us on finalizing the artwork, so even a rough sketch of your ideas would work.
Deadline for submissions: April 20th, 2008 at 11:59 PM
The winner will be announced shortly after the deadline.The campout is being held at: Governor Dodge State Park
The campout dates are: May 16th ~ May 18th

OK, here is a clearer and larger version.
I’m also thinking we could save money by doing the WGA logo part in white like the rest of the design. It would require only one screen print, so it would be far cheaper.

Okay, first I apologize for derailing the thread with a bit of humor. You made a nice design Tyedyskeguy, and obviously that’s been overshadowed.
Second, I don’t see the second design as being at all productive, being antagonistic and having no real chance of being adopted and thus derailing the thread further. There is a current thread that is covering this topic extremely well.

I didnt figure my tee shirt idea would win, but it does bring some light on how silly it is to multiple log events.
Other tag lines on the bottom could be

Here are 2 designs I came up with quickly. If I think of something else I will post them.
tyedyeskyguy – what if you did that same shirt but it was done against white/gray shirt and in a darker color? not so sure about a green shirt… maybe make the printing in green?
i am no artist, otherwise I would submit an idea of my own.
i like the design with the tent incorporated somehow.

I did the shirt in that color, well, cause it was the only color blank T I could find. 🙂
The shirt and graphix can be decided at any time. We could do multiple colors of shirts so the people had a choice too. It would not cost any more $$$.
Everyone has had great ideas, but I gotta say that I’m always partial to anything with marshmallows….. 😀
